​KMG Ethiopia has a vision: to create a society in which women are free from all forms of discrimination and violence. Ethiopia is a dangerous region for women, where sexism is pervasive and sometimes deadly. KGM recognizes that these issues are rooted deep in existing economic, social, and political structures and addresses them with an accordingly comprehensive approach.

​As a result, KMG takes victims through a program that encompasses many facets to ensure holistic recovery and long-term success. It educates women on the entrepreneurship, vocational training, and cooperative development to help foster livelihoods. It invests in infrastructure such as rural roads or basic bridges to ease the daily lives of rural women, and educates and treats women on important health issues such as HIV/AIDS, sexual health, and maternal and child health.

​KMG’s motto, “Change Takes Commitment To Action, Not A Miracle,” aligns with our philosophy and how we address the needs of the Karen people in our own community. We have partnered with KMG through Norwa Fund and also supported them with our jewelry.
